Countdown for the event RoadwebTV Benidorm 5,6,7 June

A few months ago I commented to creative Hector Milla of Balzac.tv, (with which two passions join us, the video and Minorca) that it would be interesting to do a meeting of persons related to the world of the videobloggers and WebTV. We wanted that it was a different event, which was mixing several things, networking, promotion of a destination, recording in group, project presentation and especially he debates that it was helping us to glimpse a little where the world of the WebTV goes. Initially we think in Minorca, but in the end the absence of supports and the complication in the organization of the trip, it did not make to reject the idea.

Hector did not hesitate to take the glove and we started working to manage to carry out the event in another place. It has not been easy, many calls, post office, etc... well that I am going to tell you.

But all work when it is constant has his award, in the end we manage a few sponsors who have supported us and who will make possible that on June 5, 6, 7; Benidorm and the Hotel Town Aitana, turn into the epicenter of the websTV of Spain, also there is foreseen participation of the people of Mexico, Argentina, Brazil, etc. we Already have the most innovative projects confirmed being already, more than 20 the written projects, by what the participation and the diversity and the networking is assured.

T odo would not have been possible without the involvement of the Valencian Agency of Tourism, Hosbec, Hotel Town Aitana (Place of the event), Hotel Town Venice of Magic Costa Blanca (Where the guests will stay), Centaur Rent to Car, ITH, lasse of promoci¾nweb20.com (that will realize a videomarketing workshop for the tourist sector), The Commune TV (they will realize a Videoblogging workshop) and much especially of the support of Joantxo Llantada, that with his help we have been forming what will be the event.

Panic in the blogosfera!, Forum Tourism Asturias, reflections of the Roadweb.tv

The truth is that the panic has come to me when I have seen the time that I have been without updating my blog, but those that you know to me, you know that there are major causes those that prevent me from doing it assiduously. This post has a little of everything ;-)

In April, I had pleasure in being invited by Juan Otero to take part in the Forum of Tourism of Asturias.

The forum managed to summon to a big part of the people that today they are very present in the world of the technology and Internet: Enrique Dans, Hector Milla, Juan Freire, Javier Capitán, Gina Tost, Susana Alosete, Sonia Blanco, Luis Rull, Alice Balmoral and Sebastian Forero, Javier Jimenez, Francois Derbaix, Pedro Cifuentes and an endless number of the fantastic people (I leave some insurance to myself) who in many cases had read, but not known personally.

Independently of the Forum, which for his call and presence in means was a success, one of the most interesting things, the fact was that the program was counting also, with a part where the taking part speakers, we had time to be related calmly and without the typical hurries of: Good I go away, that I miss the plane! the sorrow was that I could only remain until Saturday morning and me could not be the whole weekend in the rural houses of Juan, but with an exposition so they invite him to one it is the whole pleasure.

I have a special fondness to the event because there many topics materialized with Hector Milla, which later were carried out in the roadweb.tv that we realize in Benidorm.

I take many years having relation with Asturias and the Tourist Sector in multitude of projects, and consider it to be one of the most proactive communities as for innovation, sustainable development and quality refers. The latter months I have passed many days sharing workshops of innovation and creativity for the whole Asturian terrirorio jointly with lasse, from Gijon, passing for Cangas de Onis, Llanes, Taramundi, etc. in a whole of 9 Workshops. I have known the fantastic people and a ground of memorable and incredible sceneries.

Since well you know everything what he knows to video I am interested in especially, since I believe that for the tourism it is a vital tool and with a lot of future, especially when we mix it with destinations, experiences and social means, like tool of tourist promotion (Marketing Social Means), done that he remained stated in the first Roadweb.tv and like example a button of ZEMOS 98, one of so many people videos that are going out on the Benidorm destination.


But now when I think it, what we did in the Roadweb.tv, it was to use the base of the idea that Juan Otero already did in the forum of Asturias, with the collaboration of Hector and Gina, which they took the camera on the back.

For the my one of the most entertained moments of the Forum of tourism of asturias, it was when we record the Balzac.tv chapter, jointly with some of the speakers of the Forum.

We did something similar with the picture of the second Petrolart Blogroom in the Hotel Town Venice of Benidorm, where the participants to the roadweb.tv signed the picture. every time I take part in more events that also encourage the collaboration and the participation, what indicates that the world IF, it is changing.

I leave to you here the chapter of Balzac.tv, where I have had pleasure in having a teeny-weeny role like secondary actor in the movie "Panic :-) in the Blogosfera:" What would happen if they were eliminating the Blogs? a chapter that in a comical but deep way, raises a situation that it goes much further that the disappearance of a tool of communication, we are speaking of trying to control or veto mass media that allow to express to us with freedom, any time we should respect the rules of coexistence. This should never get lost, the case of Cuba, China or recently of the elections of Iran not happen :-(

One of the targets of organizing the Roadweb TV was to create a pair of videos related to the event and like not, with the destination, experimenting with new formats of tourist promotion and from different points of view or rather from different video cameras. Promotion destinations with Twitter II, Marketing with Twitter (Update)

THIS IS THE SECOND PART OF A POST/EXPERIMENTO ON TWITTER AND DESTINATIONS IF YOU HAVE ALREADY READ THE FIRST PART! PASS YES NOT! IN THIS LINKAGE YOU CAN SEE THE FIRST PART

In the past post we were alluding with the videos to the system Workshop of Management of Destinations where we were speaking that the management of the destinations has to be an integral and with a vision of 360th

But this is already not enough, today the proper destinations have to be more innovative in his promotion, using formats more according to the new times that they cover. and to generate platforms that help to generate excellent information, for a mix between the proper users (inhabitants (temporary or fixed) and chance visitors) of the destination. An information that could serve for earlier, during and after the trip and that remains in the network generating mark, presence, promotion, etc.


Since you will have already read the first post, the results you already know them a little and for being an experiment expontaneo and nothing prepared the relation result - cost is any more than acceptable. Serve this so that OBSESSED with the ROI they could extract their own conclusions.

But: Did Porqué now avenge with a second post? Pués to see as the experiment has evolved, the big advantage of doing things in Internet is that these remain, not like an announcement in a magazine which once has been read or throws itself or remains kept in some forgotten place (unless it is the consultation of the clear dentist :-)

Immediately after realizing innovative experiments as the examples of the Roadweb.tv, Destinations and Twitter (I say that, perhaps others think the opposite) it causes an impact in the tourist sector and this simultaneously generates an interest in the users and especially for the professionals of the sector, with what several things are obtained:

  • Free natural position in searchers, with key words in this case, on having looked in google "promotion destinations", very good positions are obtained, in particular and when I write this post, it goes out in the first position and in the rest of the first page, several linkage more to this blog and to the community of hosteltur, in which it went out like blog and post emphasized by his interest votes and comments. III I find Community Rural Tourism Anchash, Chavin de Huantar, Huascarán. Peru

Lately my relation with Peru is very fluid, curiously like 15 years ago I traveled already to this country for personal motives and could enjoy the beauties of Lima, Cuzco and Machu Pichu between others. Some years later I have returned and have been a very changed, very improved country and especially with desire of turning into a big sustainable tourist destination. Since you know when I always travel I am equipped with my Flip and my computer, to be recording the experiences of the trips.

This time invited as Phone companhy Mobile of Peru and as the MINCETUR I had the opportunity to take part like speaker in III Meeting of Community Rural Tourism of Peru, program that is achieving that the rural tourism of Peru develops in a sustainable way and that the tourism serves so that beneficiary sees the whole community of a place.

Of these 5 days that I spent of a place for other knowing the people taking part in the event, gatherings, exchanges, knowledge, etc, there were following aspects those that more attracted attention of me:

  • The Community Rural Tourism TRC, it has a sostenibilidad approach and responsabilida social important (I recommend to you the video - interview of Cecilia Raffo and Roger Valencia if you are interested in the topic) the principal target it is to make to work to the communities, groups and small villages of a joint way and in podriamos to say in network, to extract the biggest profit of the tourism especially to extract many people of the state of instability and poverty.
  • The TRC has to serve to reinforce and to support the ancestral traditions of the Peruvian culture, with thousands of years of antiquity and this one also it has to be an aspect that contributes value to the product experiencial, they do not sell beds sell, these if, a real tourist experience (this I could verify it in my own meats)
  • The TRC wants to prevent the people from having to emigrate towards the big metropolises and from being able to forge a better future in his community, perhaps, who they will see the authentic results they will be the next generations who were inheriting the work that now is started
  • The Program TCR does not want that all those who belong to a community devote themselves to the tourism, must organize themselves so that some devote themselves to the accommodation, others to cultivate the food, others to create craft, etc. etc. looking for a balance and doing that the tourism is the engine of the community but that beneficiaries see all
  • The countries that some of them consider of the third world, are prepared and very much and are giving important steps in the topic técnológico, therefore we should not fall asleep in the kudos

I would like that in Spain tuvieramós a rural tourism with a joint vision copying some of the aspects like which I have just named, especially in the aspect of the collaboration and to be employed at vision of destination and not at vision company / business. It is already not a question of having a house or a more or less nice and cozy rural hotel in a natural environment, habalmos of product and of destination. In the last workshops of tourist innovation that we have realized jointly with lasse, for Asturias, La Rioja, etc. we have always tried to transmit to the participants the need to do networking and to collaborate between companies that are compatible to improve the product and to contribute value to the destination.
